Some of the best shows about Vegas are the ones produced by the Travel Channel. They are often chock full of interesting facts and tidbits whether you are a Vegas Virgin or a seasoned traveler to the city.
This Labor Day weekend, the Travel Channel will be hosting all-day marathons of the shows it has done on Las Vegas. The event culminates with the debut of a new show, entitled “Super Swank: Vegas, Baby, Vegas,” which highlights some of the best high roller stuff the city has to offer, including the Playboy Club, the $777 burger at Le Burger Brasserie at Paris Las Vegas, shopping at The Wynn Esplanade and the tasting menu at Joel Robuchon Restaurant at MGM Grand. Hard to believe you could fit all that into one hour, but the show will try.
Sadly, the marathon doesn’t include my two favorite shows, the Anthony Bourdain “No Reservations” Vegas episode and Samantha Brown’s recent “Passport to Great Weekends” episode, but here’s a look at the line-up for each day:
