Vegas Dining Reviews From the Web

With the wealth and depth of restaurants available to the hungry denizens of Las Vegas, it’s almost impossible to visit them all. Not to mention, everyone’s taste is different, so it’s possible to get different reviews for the same restaurant.

Here are a few recent reviews we’ve spotted around the web of some of best places to eat around Vegas…

• David Matthews of the Las Vegas Advisor tries out the all-you-can-eat continental breakfast at the Payard Patisserie at Caesars Palace. I’m not sure I’d pay $16 for it but Matthews found a way around that.

• L.A. Times restaurant critic S. Irene Virbilia not only takes on the Payard Patisserie breakfast, but samples the $45 three-course prix fixe dessert tasting, as well. It sounds yummy, though she lost me a bit at the squid ink part.

• Virbilia also tried out several of the newest entries on the Vegas culinary scene while in town, including the Palazzo’s Carnevino, Table 10, Restaurant Charlie and Cut, as well as Louis’s Las Vegas down at Town Square.

• Slightly off the beaten path…or The Strip, as it were…Las Vegas Weekly‘s Greg Thilmont reviews Wolfgang Puck’s new Springs Preserve Cafe and is impressed by the freshness of the seasonal ingredients.

• The Arizona Republic‘s Howard Seftel reviews Alex at the Wynn and B&B Ristorante at the Venetian. He also adds his two cents about the new Louis’s Las Vegas restaurant.

• Finally, Steph’s Snack Shack blog spends three days eating in Vegas and reviews The Grand Wok and Sushi Bar at the MGM Grand, Stack at the Mirage and Jasmine at the Bellagio. I think the photo of the wings from Stack looks a bit scary with all the bones sticking out, but Steph says they tasted great.
