Pop chanteuse Gwen Stefani sold out several shows earlier this year in Vegas, including one at the grand opening of The Pearl at the Palms. Looking for a repeat of that night, The Palms announced yesterday that Stefani will return to the venue for another show on Friday, October 26.
Stefani first rose to fame as the lead voice of the Grammy-winning band No Doubt and has truly led a blessed career since. Her current cd, The Sweet Escape, is already platinum and has spawned the hit singles “The Sweet Escape” and her ode to the Sound of Music, “Wind It Up.” She is also a fashion maven and her L.A.M.B. and Harajuku Lovers lines of clothing and accessories have been a huge hit worldwide.
Opening the show will be Sean Kingston, the 17-year-old singer behind the hit single “Beautiful Girls.” His mixture of pop, hip-hop and reggae should provide a good complement to Stefani’s sound.
Tickets for the show, which starts at 8pm, will set you back $153 and $253, depending on how up close you want to get to Ms. Stefani. They go on sale this Saturday, August 25th, at all Tickemaster locations, including online, by phone at 702.474.4000 or at The Pearl box office, starting at noon.
A member of her Sweet Escape Tour Club? Lucky you! You get to purchase tickets to her show starting at 5pm today.
