Over the weekend, Grammy-winning singer Kelly Clarkson brought four of her closest friends to Vegas to celebrate the birthday of one of the girls.
First stop on Saturday night was Tao Asian Bistro at the Venetian, where the quintet indulged in sushi, lobster wontons and kobe beef.
Then they moved upstairs to Tao nightclub, where well into the evening, Clarkson surprised the birthday girl by having a cake brought out with sparklers. Clarkson then led the entire club in singing “Happy Birthday” to her best friend.
Other celebs seen lending their voices include CSI: Miami’s Brenden Fehr, Mario Lopez and comedian Wayne Brady, who had come to the club following his Venetian show that evening.
Wow — think I could get Kelly to do that for me next month on my birthday?
At any rate, the ladies continued to party until the club closed down just before dawn.
If you want to do a bit of celebrity spotting while in Vegas, you can always be sure you’ll see some at Tao on the weekends. Be sure to check our Vegas calendar for all the latest events happening at this club and all over town.
