If you always include a night out at Tangerine on your visits to Las Vegas, you’ll want to book a quick trip to the city this month. Why? Because, as of Labor Day, the doors will be closing on this TI hotspot for good.
Musician Dave Navarro is scheduled to host a “Grand Closing” party for the club on Saturday, September 1. But that will be the last hurrah for Tangerine, as the entire club is slated to be renovated and remodeled.
Pure Management is being tight-lipped on the transformation, but my inside sources say the new club will no longer have the white fabric and orange lights theme, but go for more of an Asian feel to complement the neighboring Social House restaurant.
The club will also be expanded, with a few more VIP booths added, more dancefloor space and the outdoor patio overlooking the Sirens’ lagoon will also be slightly enlarged. I’ve only been in Tangerine once, but the extra space is going to be much appreciated by clubgoers, that’s for sure.
No name has been released for this new club, but PMG plans to hold a lavish grand opening party on New Year’s Eve of this year.
