Little did I know when I took this photo in August of 2005, that the view would be radically changed in just few years.
On the left, you can see the sign for The Frontier, which is scheduled to close on July 15 to make way for the new Plaza property. Just behind it you can see the Stardust sign peeking out. The hotel was demolished in March of this year so the Echelon Place could be built there.
Two more slices of Vegas history, destroyed to make way for the city’s future.
