WHERE: From I-8 east of Pine Valley, take the Sunrise Hwy. (County S1) exit and drive north 24 miles to the junction with State 79. Julian is another 6 miles north via State 79.
WHEN: Ranger-led hikes on Lucky 5 lands: September 8 and 14. Mt. Laguna Observatory evening tours: Friday and Saturday nights through August, plus Sunday, September 1. (Observatory tickets must be picked up same day at the nearby USDA Forest Service Visitors Center.)
